My parents were living at 146 Ash House Road Mitcham Surrey in 1939. I have been unable to find this address at all on google so am assuming it no longer exists. I recall Mum saying they were bombed out at some point which is why we ended up in Tooting but having gone round in circles with the "bomb maps" still haven't been able to find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding this address?
Many thanks in advance for any help

I can't see any such road in Mitcham. Are you sure it's not Ashbourne Road? Parker or Drury?
-
Are you sure it was Ash House and not Ash Bourne :-\
Beat me to it Shaun

Where did you get Ash House from? Find my Past has it as Ashbourne as the other's have said.
Ashbourne Road runs off the A219 Streatham Road

Just a guess here, and I am likely to be wrong ... but .... that sounds like an odd address. I can understand there being an Ash House, in X Road, or an Ash Road, but Ash House? :-\
There is an 146 Ash Road in Sutton which is fairly closeish to Mitcham ... :-\
That house looks 1930s in style though, so doesn't fit with your parent's house being bombed.
Added: House in 146 Ashbourne Rd look 1930s in style too. It seems to be an "intact" terrace with no gaps in the houses around number 146 indicating bomb damage ...
Added: there appears to be a railway line running behind 146 Ashbourne Rd. Does that ring a bell with you?

thank you so much everyone. The print out was so small for my eyesight I have mis-read it but with you saying Ashbourne Road I can now see that it is indeed that.
