This photo includes my cousin Francis Stevens & his wife Mary Ann. I am wondering if anyone could work their magic to make Francis & Mary Ann stand out a little from the large crowd?
Francis is the man holding the SA flag & Mary Ann is to his right as you look standing directly in front of the bandsman holding the cornet next to Francis.
I appreciate that they are small figures & that it may not possible to 'enhance' their images....

Wow :o thanks so much Rami - I certainly wasn't expecting anyone to work on the whole picture but maybe just pick out my 2 family members - definitely better than the original, you are very kind.

I've worked on the whole photo too. I just added a couple of general colour washes across the people, then picked out one or two to add colour, mainly ladies in hats.
Finally I have tried to enhance Francis and Mary Ann to make them stand out. Hope this is what you ere wanting.

Brill colour edition but thought I would see how this idea turns out (which is not brilliant!)

Absolutely perfect Pat - again I didn't expect the whole photo to be coloured so that is a real surprise & a treat. Francis & Mary Ann do stand out well so again I am in your debt. Another bonus is how the background with the railway station comes to life with colour.
Thanks so much

I do like this version Japeflakes - it is more like what I thought I would do if I had both the software & ability. Mary Ann is the woman on the right edge of the 'blown up' snip so can I be cheeky & ask if you could move the 'blow up' slightly to the right to include her a little more? So grateful for these 'enhanced' versions.

Sure others can do better but given it another go:

Thanks so much for making the adjustment & the main picture is also so much clearer - great to see all those faces from 1901.
Thank you Japeflakes

Bit different take on japeflakes's idea.
