Title: Great Gransden records
Post by: MacGrigor on Wednesday 16 May 18 16:45 BST (UK)
Hello,

I'm looking for some exact dates, as FamilySearch has only given me years for the following records:

William Stocker marrying Ann Test in the parish in 1801
Edward Teat or Tate marrying Ann Wright in the parish in 1773
William Wright marrying Avery Burton in the parish in 1745
Timothy Burton marrying Anne Luke in the parish in 1726

And some individuals I'd like christenings for:

Timothy Burton and Anne Luke, parents of Avery Burton (christened 1727). Married in GG in 1726.
Edward Teat or Tate. Married with these two names to Ann Wright in GG in 1773. Daughter born Ann Tate but chose Teat.
William Wright. Married Avery Burton in GG in 1745.

Apologies for the list but it's all relevant to this one village.

I'd appreciate any help!

Adam

Have you used any resources other than familysearch?

Yes, I know it's in Huntingdonshire as a historic county but now it's in Cambridgeshire so I put it in here. And yes, I tried FreeREG too.

If you are only using familysearch and freereg searches will be restricted, you need to assemble more resources.
Genuki is invaluable.
Each county board has resources and offer board.
http://www.archersoftware.co.uk/igi/  Not all batches made it to familysearch
Online Parish Clerks operate across some  counties, just Google ***** OPC.

Parish records will be available at Huntingdonshire Archives - confusingly tun by Cambridgeshire County Council ;D

https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/libraries-leisure-&-culture/archives/visit-our-archives/
They are NOT online.

From the Advanced Search enter "Parish Register Gransden" in the Any Text box.
