I’m looking for the parents of george charles kavanagh born 1917 Ireland died 1983 Kent

You have posted on the Kent board but if you are looking for his birth details it should be on the appropriate Irish board.

The nearest I can see is a George Christopher Kavanagh born 1st December 1916 who died November 1985, Maidstone Kent.
There is a George Kavanagh registered in Cork, with a mmn Twomey.
Could that be him?

No image for that George Kavanagh birth but there is a marriage of a George Kavanagh and Catherine Twomey in February 1916

I would have posted the link to this birth, although as Sinann writes there is no image, plus the possible marriage of the parents but different details requested ???

There is a George C KAVANAGH on the 1939 electoral register with this DoB
The head of the family is Katherine M KAVANAGH DoB Dec 05 1893
This ties with the marriage found by SINNANN that may be George's parents.
This is possibly George's mother on the 1911 census with a place of birth as Cawnpore, Bengal, India LINK (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai001872632/)
at house 71.2 in Great William O'Brien Street (Cork No. 4, Cork)
aged 17 years and 4/12 months
Michael's wife is not Katherine's mother as they are only married nine years and states no children

Sorry - my reply above was directed at peb205. I spent a lot of time looking at all permutations of the profile he gave and saw the one you found but dismissed it as he gave middle name as Charles and year as 1983. I even checked 1983 and 1984 wills ::)

My post was meant for peb25 too because of the change of details with no reference to my post.
As I wrote, I would have given all the information had I known it was the correct person.
