Title: Divorce look up

Hi i have looked with no joy for a divorce of my late relations in usa
but cant find at all, it was between 1961-1964 in texas possible
Alvin j dreahn- Carol anne dreahn nee nash
wondered if any one can find this for me both people are deceased.

According to this https://www.tsl.texas.gov/arc/vitalfaq.html - "Divorces in Texas were not recorded at the state level until 1968. Records of divorces before 1968 are located in the district clerk's office in the county where the divorce was filed."

It sounds like you would have to figure out what county the divorce happened in and contact them directly.

In 1958 they lived in Houston, Texas (Harris County Texas) and in 1959 they lived in El Paso, Texas (El Paso County Texas).

Your best bet is to contact El Paso County Clerk's Office at (915) 546-2071 and then Harris County Clerk's Office at (713) 274-8600 for more information.
