Morning All,
I'm looking for info on a Daisy May Crewe's parents, my husbands grandmother. She was borne around 1885 and Married a David John Thomas in 1915 in Newport Monmouthshire.
I can find a single Daisy May in the records but not sure she is the correct one. I have found evidence of the marriage into the Thomas family but can't tie it to the Daisy May I seen in other trees and can't find any info on her parents to tie it in. Looks like I may have to send for Marriage Certificate.

The 1939 Register gives a birth year of 1892 which looks like it ties in reasonably with Trish's find

My Grandmother was Ivy Thomas but little is known about her side of the family. All I know is her exact birthday, her marriage and children. So I'm looking into all potential parents.

from the free index to 1939 register, Ivy Doreen's date of birth was 2 May. There are a couple of possible marriages for her but it would appear to be the one june qtr 1949 Newport to Raymond J Richards as there is a death reg sept qtr 1990 South Glamorgan for Ivy Doreen Richards dob 2 may 1927.

Her birth date was March 4th 1927
She married Joseph Hopkins in 1946 in Caerleon and she passed in 2003, Newport.
