I’ve noticed my ethnicity estimate at Ancestry has just changed.
Before I was:
GB (Southern England) 35%
Europe West 25%
Ireland/Scotland/Wales 15%
Scandinavia 12%
Iberia 10%
Now I’m:
England and Wales (Southern England) 90%
Ireland and Scotland 7%
Norway 3%
A bit drastic, I think, even for a bit of fun.
At least in the real world the matching does work and some mysteries are being solved….

;D
I notice that Ancestry did a recalculation this month!
I've decided after only a month of getting DNA results that these estimates are to be regarded with a pinch of sea salt.
From my family research, I am predominantly Welsh/English/Scottish with a touch of Irish. These are the results of three sites estimates:

Ours have been updated too.
I've lost my Melanesian and my OH is now 2% European Jewish.
They are to be taken with a pinch of salt and will change as more people test their DNA.
Interesting though.

.... and this morning my estimates are back to the original !

Nothing too surprising in my ethnicity, 71% Southern England. Fair enough ancestors came from Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
