Trying to find the Iles family in 1911.
Edmund Iles born 1871 in Bristol, parents Edmund and Elizabeth Iles (Elizabeth died in 1893, Edmund remarried in 1894 to Eliza Rogers)
Son Edmund married Laura Emily Hughes in 1891 Bedminster.
Not sure how many children they had, on the 1901 census Edmund and Laura are living in Pontypool with their 2 daughters Elsie May and Rosina.
On GRO Records have found they had more children who sadly died:
Florence May 1892-1893
Else May b 1893
William Ernest Howard 1895-1895
All 3 born in Bedminster
Frederick 1899-1900
Rosina b 1900
Nellie b 1902
Percy 1904-1905
All 4 born in Pontypool
The next 3 children I am not sure about hence I would like to view the 1911 census
William Thomas b 1906
Robert John b 1908
Annie Mary b 1911
All 3 children born in Merthyr Tydfil
Any help would be appreciated

Hi, have since found the last 3 children and they are not Edmund and Laura's children. But would still like to know were the rest of the family are in 1911.

Wander what happened to the parents? Elsie May is working as a servant, Nellie staying/living with relatives. They had 7 children with 4 died tragic. Will try and find Rosina, on the 1901 census she is called Rose.

Had a look on FindMyPast 1911 census and cannot find a Kate or Sarah Iles, at least we know where Edmund was. Still having trouble finding Rosina.

Yes but he's boarding with a Sarah J Vincent, married, crossed out and widowed added ( married 1 year yet with many children! )

Hi,
My cousin has been researching our family tree and I happened to Google the Bristol branch as that's where I live now. Edmund Iles (b1871) was my great great grandad.
The info we have is he married Laura Emily Hughes in 1891 but she died in 1905. He remarried M. Terriss in 1919.
Edmund and Laura's daughter Nellie married Thomas Hutton Senescall (1889-1941) in 1921.
Thomas and Nellie had my grandad in 1921, Geoffrey Edmund George Senescall and Maisie Senescall in 1925.
My grandad lived in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire but not sure what generation the family moved there.
Hope this helps. It's been good to find out more about the Iles.
