Good afternoon all.
Can anyone help me find this gentleman? His father was Charles, mother Harriet. He went to New Zealand prior to the 1841 census. aged 20 yrs. There is no more info known.

You have posted this in Middlesex presumably he has stated he was born there :-\
Where does the information about his parents come from

Grave has him born c 1819 Bognor Regis, Arun District, West Sussex

Hello Rosie.
Someone contacted me as we both have "Stents" in our tree. She thought I might be able to help her find her English relatives. As all my Stents are from the London area I'm trying that area first. His parents are from his Death cert. He died in New Zealand. I've tried to find a marriage for Charles and Harriet but no luck. I've searched for a baptism for Charles 1818/20 but no luck.
I thought someone on here might be able to help.

The lady told me he died in New Zealand 1895

Ir was 1891 he died.
So the the Death Cert and is where his Parents names came from. Info on Death Certs is only as good as the informants Knowlege.
Sorry I cant fing a Charles c 1817=1822 with those Parents anywhere in England.
Maybe try the Sussex Board with this query as other may have Parish Records not available on line.
