Title: Dinton St. Peter & St. Paul Grave Yard Plan
Post by: Jeffrey on Thursday 07 June 18 17:47 BST (UK)
Does anyone know of or has a plan of the Memorial Stones in St. Peter & St. Paul's Church at Dinton, Bucks?

I know quite a few of the ancestors we are tracing are buried there but when we went a few weeks ago it was quite overgrown and we could not see all the names on the stones.

Thank you.

Judy

I have the same, with so many rellies buried there, with nothing to show.

The Church may hold the map of burials, so a personal visit will be the only way.  Try contacting the Church authority, or call the phone number on this web site and ask,

Hi Steve
Thanks for the reply.
Yes I think if there is no Map of the Church Yard in circulation I shall have to try asking someone from the Church there.

I visited my home town Church of St Mary's, in Princes Risborough, after arranging an appointment.

The Vicar kindly pulled out 2 maps of the graveyard. The plots were marked, in the new(2), and the old(1) part of the church graveyards.  He also let me view some burials, from the parish records.

Family burials there from 1560's to 2002. There was only one Headstone for all those years......that was 2002.
