Title: Cotton Surname Project
Post by: Gossypium on Saturday 09 June 18 13:12 BST (UK)
The Cotton Surname Project has been very successfully with over 100 Cottons (or variant surnames) tested, and more the merrier:

The testing company we recommend is in the USA and it as just reduced the cost of the Y-DNA37 test temporarily to US $129.00 (about £106) until June 18th as a special Father's Day promotion.  Before ordering the test kit, it is necessary to join the Cotton Surname Project:

FamilyTreeDNA has reduced its fee for the Y-DNA37 Test to US $129.00 plus postage from Houston TX, which can be ordered if any Cotton or relative joins the Cotton Surname Group, here:

The Y-DNA37 Test is the same type as taken recently by me, and if another male Cotton takes a test and the results match with the results of my test, it proves scientifically that we are cousins whose Cotton ancestors originate from the Isle of Wight!

They have not said when the promotion ends, so be quick to take advantage of the discount before it disappears!
