I am hoping someone can 'repair' the crease marks on this photo of my great uncle Bert.
A little clean up would be great as well.

Hi Keith. I'm always happy to work on photos of musicians :).
This is my attempt. As sometimes happens, I had to reduce the dimensions of the photo to be able be able to post it on Rootschat. Should you want to, you can download the photo in the original dimensions via this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gxm0gqdvlq7u6fg/Bert%20Stevens-mike%20%28large%29.jpg?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/gxm0gqdvlq7u6fg/Bert%20Stevens-mike%20%28large%29.jpg?dl=0)
Cheers,

That's excellent thanks Mike - it's like the creases never existed! A lovely clean & fresh restore & I have downloaded the larger version which is much appreciated.
I'll have a look to see if I have anymore musicians in the family for you :)

here's my offering.
Three different formats and I spent some time ridding it of speckling and making the thumb and fingers show up clearer.
Hope you enjoy.

3 great versions DrDude - I can see you have done a lot of work on not only removing the creases but all the spots & other blemishes. His fingers are definitely clearer so thank you for that. All your work is very much appreciated.
Thank you

So glad you like it. If there is anything more I can do, please let me know.

Here's one from me

I have coloured this as I was interested in painted furniture which was fashionable many years ago. I have never seen one like this though, there seems to be added bits all over the place. I think I may have added some more too.

Thank you Pat for both versions - the coloured one is a lovely bonus & will look great alongside the original & the B&W restores.
I was also intrigued by the fancy chair
Thanks again Keith

Another 'honest' restore from you Japeflakes - I love how your restores always bring out more detail in the original image.
Very much appreciated by me

It rarely happens that my 'restored' version is the first one on a thread but by chance, it was on this one. But as always, I really enjoy looking at all the different versions and I still learn a lot from them.
Pat's coloured version (based on an excellent B&W restore) is wonderful! Personally, I also really like the 'warmer tinted' versions.
Keith, as an amateur photographer and musician, this was for me a wonderful portrait to work on!
