CWGC wish to make contact with any family members of Pvt Matthew Russell - 24042 - South Lancashire Regiment - passed away 2 nd April 1920 aged 36 years - address on discharge - 6 Pocket Nook Street, Parr, St Helens.
Originally taken prisoner in Cambrai on 30 November 1917 and not treated for mustard gas poisoning - POW records show he was born 25 August 1884 - and his home address was 34 Pocket Nook Street St Helens.
