can anyone help improve this photo this is my wiseman family side , George served in world war 1 , and was a prisoner of war in germany

appreciate any help given , thanks , ryan

I think I had similar thoughts to Japeflakes: that stuff to the right of the curtain is distracting - so I've cropped it out, and trimmed top and bottom to keep the proportions the same as the original.

And I couldn't make up my mind between black & white and sepia, so I've sent both.
