Title: Correction on a death cert
Post by: Gortinanima on Wednesday 13 June 18 17:43 BST (UK)
The civil death record for John Evans in 1892 was corrected by the registrar

Informant was given as Peter Evans son - this was corrected to nephew and the number 21 inserted beside the word nephew:

Any suggestions what the number 21 could mean??

I agree Rosinish
There is probably a list at the end of the register with possibly comments
the previous page has an amendment shown as 20 / Twenty LINK (https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1892/06018/4713213.pdf)
