Hello,

FreeREG does not appear to have these.

Looking for Austin Bass, died in Maulden, at some point after 1808 when his wife died. Also looking for Diana Northwood, who also would have died in Maulden. She married in Cardington in 1762 to Francis Northwood of Maulden. Her maiden name was Goodman but I have nothing on her.

Any help would be appreciated,

Have you checked that one on the GRO index for his age at death  :-\

GRO says he's aged 80, and considering he was born in 1762, it's probably an estimate and close to his true age.

As no one would have had to prove when he was born at the time of his death the age at death is always subject to the informants knowledge.

Austin Bass married Elizabeth Northwood at Maulden on 23 Feb 1789 by licence.
The licence transcript has him age 25 an innholder, Elizabeth age 20.
Surety given by John Northwood, shopkeeper of Maulden.

Interestingly the next Maulden marriage on 1 June 1789 is Diana Northwood to Edward Looms

Diana's husband was Francis Northwood but I believe he was buried in Maulden in 1806. The pair married in Cardington in 1762.
