Is anyone researching this family: Thomas ROSE b.1852 Rowley Regis = Mary Ann SMITH/PARKES b. 1853?

William = Anna 2nd - Issue: Horace, Evelyn...
Sarah = Edward TOYE - Issue: Mary, Rachel, William, Doris
Thomas = Emily - Issue: 3 daughters - Vic, Vera...
Joseph - Issue: Jane, Alice, Joseph, Lillian, Doris, Horace, Madge BLOOD (Barbara, Sylvia, Brian Terrence), Eileen...

Thomas' parents were: Thomas ROSE b.1821 and Sarah STOKES b. 1822. Are there census listings? For:

1851: Hannah ROSE age 20 Rowley Regis (sister)
1841: Thomas ROSE age 20 Rowley Regis
1841: Hannah ROSE age 10 Rowley Regis (sister to Thomas - that way I could see parents' info.)
1851: Sarah STOKES age 29 Rowley Regis
1841: Sarah STOKES age 19 Rowley
Likewise Mary Ann SMITH/PARKES' parents:
1851 Joseph PARKES age 16

1881 Census https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27F-6H9Q (as a married man)
I can't see where the marriage took place? was it confirmed as dec 1/4 1873?
Marriages Dec 1873 (>99%)
NEWELL Edward Stourbridge 6c 350
ROSE Thomas Stourbridge 6c 350
Smith Mary Stourbridge 6c 350
Vaughan Emma Stourbridge 6c 350
ROSE Thomas SMITH Mary Marriage 1873 @ Blackheath, St Paul West Midlands
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackheath,_West_Midlands
Why two surnames for Mary (Smith/Parkes)?
I think you've got some sums wrong on ages for earlier census searches.
1871 Census https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KDDV-256 (?Hannah b 1840-ish has wed Israel Morris)
1861 census https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7D6-4C4 (no Hannah)
1851 census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SGGD-RCQ (Hannah is aged 10 years here)
Thomas Rose and Sarah Stokes wed AFTER the 1841 census, so she is Sarah Rose in 1851.

1871 Candidate for Mary Parkes (aged 18)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KDDV-2PK
1861 Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7D6-WSB
Phillis' birth seems to be registered as a Smith. Two possibles, one mmn Finch, one with no MMN
Isaac again seems to be registered smith, with no MMN.
Did Joseph Parkes and Hannah Smith ever marry, or just jump the broomstick?
-
Likewise Mary Ann SMITH/PARKES' parents:
1851 Joseph PARKES age 16 26-ish
1841 Joseph PARKES, b.1825 age 6 16-ish
1851 Hannah SMITH, age 19 Rowley Regis
1841 Hannah Smith b, 1832, age 9 Rowley Regis :-\
in 1861 Joseph Parkes was b 1825 Rowley Regis (Transcription) aged 36
in 1871 b 1827 (44y)
in 1861 Hannah Parkes was 44y? (b 1817)
in 1871 Hannah was 39y (b 1832)

Thank you for the date corrections. :-[
Mary Ann SMITH/PARKES b. 1853 Rowley Regis. Her parents got married long after her birth, so she is registered as SMITH, her mother's name, Hannah SMITH b. 1832, but her dad was Joseph PARKES, b. 1825.
I'm looking for Hannah SMITH b. 1832 Rowley Regis on the 1841 census (about 9 years).
I'm also looking for Joseph PARKES b. 1825 about, RR, on the 1841 census (about 16 years).
Thank you for the reply.

Yes that is the marriage certificate, thank you.
(I didn't remember the exact details, from prior searching years ago, which is why I hadn't written them down on the post.)
I will have to buy it then and get back to the site.

It might be possible to see:
1841: Elie STOKES, b. 1817, age 24 RR (possibly Sarah's brother, which would enable me to see the family)
As mentioned below: Sarah ROSE (STOKES) b. 1822 is married by the time of this 1841 census.
(ROSE/STOKES m. 1841 - I have to get this marriage certificate too, along with PARKES/SMITH m.1874.) :-[
Mary PARKES b. 1853, Phillis, Isaac ...births were registered as SMITH because the Joseph PARKES/Hannah SMITH marriage took place after all the children were all born - m.1874
-
Sarah b 1822 wed just after the 1841 census, not before.
We'll look forward to your additional information from the 1841 marriage. The 1873 marriage is postec earlier on this thread

You don't need to get the marriage certificate all the details are on freereg.
