Title: How does the "Quote" button works?
Post by: UK4753 on Monday 25 June 18 19:54 BST (UK)
Can you explain how that "Quote" button works?  If I wanted to only include a portion of a message do I just delete the rest that shows?  Or are there some other tricks?

Thanks,
Bryce

That's what I do.

That is maybe easier for you Bryce. I normally only ever quote a small part of a post so I "copy and paste" the bit I wish to quote and I use the "insert quote" button which is found above the box in which you type in (it is the one with a speech bubble)

I also use that method as well, but sometimes you do need to show who the quote is from and the second method doesn't do that does it?

You are correct.  Thank you for pointing that out.
