Title: Lost: GRADON Bible
Post by: jack63kids on Thursday 28 June 18 17:06 BST (UK)
I am not really hoping for a miracle, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Many years ago, before I was born I think, my Grandmother left her husband's family bible behind when she left barracks at the RAF camp at Credenhill, Herefordshire which closed down in 1990.
I wrote to them some while ago and they did not have any record of a bible being handed in or kept.

It's a massive outside chance that we would ever find it again and I really think it would have been thrown away many years ago. Yet, here I am asking if anyone has ever seen a bible with GRADON names in. The family were from Co Durham, and not Hereford though that was where the bible was last seen.

Please and thanks,
Jackie Leevers

As you are aware you are clutching at straws, you could set up a search on eBay.  Specify a few relevant words such as GRADON and family bible and they will alert you if one is listed.

Or contact local second hand book dealers.
