Hi there,
Have hit a brick wall, and would love some help. Found the marriage record for my 5X Great Grandparents, Emanuel Evans and Elizabeth Jones. They were married in Llansannan Parish on 8 Aug, 1785.
He is listed as a bachelor of Llanrhaiadr, and she is of Llansannan Parish. Parents names are not listed, and I haven't found any other documents with parents names listed. I do know from census records and some other documents that they were both born around 1763/1764. Emanuel became a Calvinistic Methodist Minister, and I have seen a document that he wrote from 1801 when he was a minister in Amlwch on Anglesey. They had many children baptized in Amlwch, and then the family moved to Trefdraeth, Anglesey, at some point in the early 1800's and he preached out of his home for years.
Looking specifically to trace both Emanuel and Elizabeth back a generation. Other than birth years, and their marriage record, I am afraid I don't have anything to go off of. Hoping that Emanuel/Emmanuel/Mannuel is an uncommon name which may be helpful in the search.
Thank you for any help/guidance!
Heather (Evans) DeFer

And this is Elizabeth died 28 June 1842.
It might be worth trying to find an Evans will naming Nathanial. It will be a long shot but you never know

Thanks everyone! Hadn’t seen the bonds before so those were great finds.
Am still looking for birth/baptism info on both Emanuel and Elizabeth, so let me know if you have any suggestions for where I should look moving forward. Thank you!
