Attached image is of a lumber mill that apparently burned down July 9 1894.
We assume this mill was supplying lumber for CPR operations possibly in Alberta or BC.
However, the relatives also worked in Washington state on railroad bridges and their location in 1894 is unknown.
The name D. McKinnon is written on back of image.
No photographer is listed.
A search for D. McKinnon finds nothing linked to the image
