Title: marriage record for Alexander Sinclair Esq and Barbars Mitchell

Help needed to find a marriage in  Shetland between merchant Alexander Sinclair Esq born abt 1700 and  Barbara Mitchell born about 1709, possibly Westshore. Their first child John Charles was born 1729. So far I have found no record on Scotlandspeople

Thanks, I did come across this family database, I can find the baptisms of all the children on ScotlandsPeople, but no record of the marriage or baptisms for Alexander Sinclair or his wife Barbara, who is supposed to be the daughter of Sir John Mitchell. Both the Mitchells and Sinclairs come from a long line of noble people on the island, but I have found no proof of this on Scotlandspeople. I'm not sure where everyone is getting this information.
