I have this dob for Edward Jones from his headstone , and census says Llangollen . 20 Dec 1835 .
I only have him for sure after his marriage in 1858 in Wokingham to Mary Leeke / Leake.
Can anyone help with his father / both parents.
Thanks.

Marriage entry has his father as Edward - transcription not image, sadly.
Will have a check on baptisms later if you've not had any other info.

If the Dec birthdate is correct, he'd probably be showing as born 1836 on census.

That seems a good one, in 1861 he`s in Wrexham with Mary F, and he is a joiner, later he was an architect and surveyor.
I can`t find him in 1851 though, but Mary is still with her mother in Berkshire.

I`m pretty sure it his Dad,
In 1871 he`s at 9 Fairfield Street page 14 and his son is at 4, page 12, too much of a coincidence I think.

When/where did Elizabeth die?

When/where did Elizabeth die?
No idea, I can`t find them in 1881 and they don`t seem to be in WXM cemetery, so possibly between 1871 and 1876 /7
I`m happy that it seems to the same family.
Thanks for the help.

Hello @Wilcoxon.
What is your connection to Edward Jones?
Edward's mother, Sarah is my 4th great grandmother.
Edward become a joiner and ended up in Wrexham.
His son inlaw William Rogers, was aslso a builder.
