I am tracing a Martin Kennedy who was an RIC Constable, assigned to Westmeath, retired in 1894.
I have a record of his contributory pension payments (establishment number 4317).
From Portumna in 1844, I think he joined in 1867, number 32753, aged 23.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to access a record of his postings and if so how?
Many thanks
Gerry

You can try FindmyPast

If no luck on findmypast, try https://irishconstabulary.com/ (https://irishconstabulary.com/) a very friendly forum.
I can't see his service record on FindMyPast, but if anyone knows where it is, the folk on that forum will.

I'm sure it's 32053. 32753 was a James Flynn
