Hi,
I'm trying to find details of birth and parents of Mary Ann Hafey born circa Oct 1886 in Kensington (Can't verify this so might not be accurate) She married Robert William Owen in 1902 in Kensington.
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Rob

Might be difficult.

What information does it give for Mary and Robert - Names ages - occupations -places of birth
-
Righto!
Robert William Owen circa 1841 Kensal Green , Bricklayers Labourer
Mary Owen circa 1885 Illsworth, Middlesex, No occupation.
Thanks
Rob

Have you considered that Illsworth could be Isleworth :-\
-
Yes, tried that. Got another date of 20 Oct Isleworth 1884. Can't find any evidence of birth
-
Where are you getting these dates from
-
Hi,
Just in case this might be helpful - Nora Hafey's birth was registered at Brentford (the registration district for Isleworth) in 1886 - D quarter, vol 03a, pg58.
Her mother's maiden name is not given which often means the mother wasn't married. Taking a quick look around, I can't find any other record for a Nora Hafey in the London area, (but you should check this out yourself to be sure).
But I wonder if 'Mary Ann' is not 'Nora' and she changed her name for some reason?

Hi,
Sorry for late reply but thanks forum contributors for help on this.
I think that Mary Ann Hafey is Mary A Beckwith, still can't find birth cert but am in touch with other family tree researcher who are providing some great insight.
Thanks
Rob
