I live in the UK and wonder if anybody could help with a search for an obituary please.
Thomas Frederick Anderson, secretary of the NZ Seaman's Union died in 1964 and his Obit was published in the New Zealand Herald on 24 September 1964.
I have been unable to access the Obit from the Uk and wonder if anybody would be able to let me have a transcription.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi abun,
May I suggest you try emailing the Auckland central library "ask a librarian"
https://www.aucklandlibraries.govt.nz/Pages/research-services.aspx
Charges apply to in-depth research, including whakapapa and family history, as well as for the retrieval and supply of articles, including community newspapers.
The first 30 minutes is free. After the first 30 minutes, there is a charge of $20.70 per half hour.
Any photocopying, printing and postage charges are additional.
As you know the exact date etc it should be free
Cheers Janette

Have you read this biography/obituary? This is what may have appeared in the New Zealand Herald....

Thanks Minniehaha,
Yes I have a copy of that biography article, but thanks you.

Hi Abun,
Did you see the link to sources on the Te Ara biography page?
If you still want the Herald obituary I'll look for it at National Library.
