I am looking for any information on the Vreeland and Kerrigan families in New Jersey. John Henry Vreeland (dob unknown) married Margaret Ellen Hoffman (date of marriage unknown). Margaret Ellen was born December 18, 1855 in Phillipburg, Warren County, New Jersey. Possible children are Rossa, Nancy, Ada, Amy and John H. Vreeland Jr.
Margaret's sister, Emma Matilda Hoffman, married John Kerrigan on February 22, 1880 in Pompton Plains, Passaic, New Jersey. Emma was born April 15, 1860 in Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey. Possible children are Matilda, Rosena, Mary F., Michael N. and Elizabeth Kerrigan.
Another sister, Mary E. Hoffman (born abt. 4/1851 in Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey) married John W. Gales on April 11, 1886 in Phillipsburg.
I do not think that these families ever moved out of New Jersey as all 3 sisters died in New Jersey.
Any information regarding these families would be very much appreciated.

JOHN H. VREELAND DOVER TOWNSHIP - John H. Vreeland, 66, of 766 Bay Ave., died yesterday at home. He was born in Newark and lived in Clifton before moving here four years ago. He was an executive with the Public Service Electric and Gas Co., Newark, before his retirement. Mr. Vreeland was a member of the Harmony Lodge No. 18, F4AM, Toms River; Passaic Lodge No. 67, F&AM; Valley of Trenton; National Association of Notary Publics, Washington, D.C.; Salaam Temple, Livingston, and the Ocean County Board of Realtors, Toms River. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Bray, and one daughter, Mrs. xxxx Skikus, Manchester Township. The Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.
