Does anyone know if there is a picture of this Inn. It was situated on Church Street, Whitehaven. Found an ancestor as landlord in 1901.

Most of the buildings on that side of the street have been rebuilt/demolished by the look of things. Street view shows what may have been The Golden Fleece, a little further away from the church, on the west side of the street. Of course, the original buildings opposite may have looked completely different.

You're welcome. I just edited my earlier reply suggesting Facebook groups for Whitehaven history. I have found useful snippets on such groups and some great images
