Hi, it's Been a long time since I started my family history , & haven't done much for a while, but decided time to start again. My brick wall,is my 3 great grandmother Amy Evans, born approx 1794 in Meidrim Carm. She married a Thomas Lewis in Llanegwad church. No parents names on the marriage . Have been trying to find her baptism , but having no luck, people have helped in the past , but no luck. So one more time to see if I can find her before I give up & be happy with the stuff I already have. She married June 23rd 1823, witnesses were Thomas Lewis.( could be grooms father?)& a George Jones, vicar was David Nicholl. They had 7 children all except one Catherine , was baptised in the same church. But where did Amy Evans herself get baptised? Would love to go back another generation.Found them on 1841 census in Llanegwad parish-tycoon.Have got info on both their deaths .Really want her baptism, anyone kind enough to help me in the right direction please. Thanking you in anticipation.

No parents names on the marriage .
Does it confirm she was a spinster? If she was about 29 she may have been married before so Evans wouldn't be her birth name. Just a thought :)

According to the 1823 marriage she was a Spinster

Yes she was a spinster on marriage entry.
Thank you all for your kind help , will see how things work out.
Also her age on death was 80.This was in 1874.Buried in Llanegwad church, need to go sometime to check where in that churchyard she is.possibly with her husband.
Thanks again .
