Samuel Dulston was Born 18th July 1811 to Joseph, (a Boatbuilder) and Cecily Dulston, of Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Samuel Dulston was Baptised in Oxford on the 13th February 1876, shortly before he died in 1877.
It seems curious that he wasn't Baptised as a baby? And I'm unable to find a Marriage for Joseph and Cecily... :-(

As a boatbuilder he must have been building boats on the Llangollen canal, which opened round about 1797, so he may have moved to Whitchurch from elsewhere when the canal opened.

That's an interesting point Mike... I will certainly look at that angle.
On the 1841 Census for Whitchurch, there's a Samuel and Martha Dulston, both 85yrs, (although ages were 'rounded up' on the 1841, I think... Ref: HO107/903/10/Whitchurch, - but I don't know if their related to this Samuel Dulston?

The marriage is on familysearch under the name Dulson
Joseph Dulson married Ciceley Dulson 8 October 1810 in Whitchurch

Thanks Emeltom.
They must be the right parents... (Possibly cousins?)
Also on Family Search:
Other information in the record of William Dulson

And so it looks as though he was Baptised twice in total!
Romilly. (I hadn't thought of looking on Family Search, but the misspelling might have stumped me if I had).
