can anyone restore my great uncle James Cordiner of Peterhead and his workmates at a herring yard in great Yarmouth late 1940s perhaps early 1950s
any help given is greatly appreciated

Wow...What a cracking photo Ryan :o...my Grandma was a "Herring Girl" in the 40s & 50s and travelled to Gt.Yarmouth and the Isle of Man.

Excellent work , appreciate your time and great effort , thanks for positive comments , a great one to imagine the life they lead , they all look happy at work , notice it looks like - North Sea Herring Co Great Yarmouth mentioned on the barrel , also noticed the man far right has overalls with US NAVY
