There was a probate record in Winneshiek Iowa for George Blass who passed away 23 January 1869 - probate to wife Mary.
Not finding parents on a 1850/51 census - USA or Canada.
Are we going to get any acknowledgement from the poster, we've obviously spent a lot of time researching on this one. ???

with george blais and amelia ohms they r my 3x great grandparents...i didn't know much about their family that's why the inquiry about them...supposedly tho amelia's parents were william and wilhelmina ohms..with george except for the birthdate i don't have any further info except that he lived for a period of time in waterloo, ontario..
