In 1891 Jessie H Rolfe (1872) is living with Charles & Harriett Rolfe in Cambridge.
In 1901 Jessie Rolfe (1872) is living with her Aunt ( Elizabeth Adams née Scarr) in Impington Cambs. This is the same Aunt that Annie Scarr lived with. (see my last request).
In 1905 she married Charles Peck
In 1911 Jessie (transcribed as James) 1882 (also wrong) is living with Charles Peck in Histon Cambs
1939 living in Impington - dob 14th Aug 1871.
Can anyone find her parents?

BUT:
1891 census - she is described as the daughter of Charles and Harriett Rolfe - aged 19, born Cambridge. Father Charles born St Pancras, mother born Cambridge.
Her marriage certificate will give her father's name - hopefully.

Am I correct in thinking that Jessica was born Jessica Harriett Hitchcock (14th Aug 1871)
By 1881 she had morphed into Jessica Harriett Rolfe Jackson and by 1891 into Jessica Harriett Rolfe.
Jessica's mother was Harriet Scarr (sister of Elizabeth (1840) and her birth father was Charles Hitchcock ... her step father was Charles Rolfe Jackson .... later Charles Rolfe.

Her father seems likely to be Charles Rolfe (Jackson) but registered as Hitchcock because the divorce was not finalised.

I'm not sure Charles Hitchcock was her father , although she was registered as Hitchcock. The Divorce papers mention one daughter of the marriage , called Ellen , born about 1867 ( I think registered in Cambridge - GRO has mmn as Searr , instead of Scarr ). Charles claims that Harriet and Charles Rolfe were in a relationship from some time in 1871 as per 1871 census quoted by Heywood.
