On a death certificate I'm working with I find a location in County Laios that I cannot find. I believe it is spelled: Coorlanane (see attached image). It is in a death record list from Ballickmoyler or Ballicmoyler. I've tried Townlands.ie to no avail. Can anyone assist me with the deciphering the name or know the location?

Just look them up on Census?

Might as well post this anyway, though Hallmark has covered it. There is a Coorlaghan 8 kms from Ballickmoyler. I think what you (and I) took for an "n" is really an "h". I found it at wikipedia's list of townlands by using the browser to search for the letters I was sure of, "coor".

Coorlaghan, but spelt Coorlahane - means 'wide curve'.

For example, the birth registration for daughter Bridget born in 1889 has it spelled as 'Coorlane':
