would like to find imfo on the above mentioned, parents, thankyou Margaret.

Philomene Clausen was born 10 Feb 1909. She died in Birmingham in 1989 as Philomena Augusta A Robinson.
She had a sister Selina born in December 1910. She died in Bury St Edmunds in 1970 as Selina Francesca M Kazura, having married Bronislaw Kazura in 1951 (he died 1989).
Their widowed mother Augusta E Clausen b 1868 worked as a tobacconist in Bury St Edmunds from 1927 at the latest (according to a local directory entry), & died there in 1951.
Not sure where they were all born or who Augusta’s husband was.
-
Wow, that was a good responce, thankyou so much.Margaret.
-
Hello,
Do you have them in 1911? I can’t see Philomene but there is a 2yr old Audrey.

Heywood

Thankyou Heywood, no, Ido not have them on the 1911 census, thanks Margaret.
-
It looks as though Augusta has fibbed about her age and there is also a previous marriage, I think.
There is a possible marriage in 1896, Wandsworth and a birth for her in Wokingham, Berkshire in 1868.
-
Perhaps Audrey was one of Philomena’s middle names?

Perhaps Audrey was one of Philomena’s middle names?
I would think so.
-
Thankyou everyone for your imput.Margaret.

Philomene's birth transcribed as Clauser in Q1 1909 Edmonton district by freebmd
-
Clousen Philemen Augusta Awdry on Gro website mmn Bint
-
Augusta b Wokingham, Berks, she has a younger sister Selina and brother William F on 1881 census
-
Augusta Elizabeth Bint was daughter of Frederick Bint and Mary ann Girdler who married in Hartley Wintney district in 1861. Frederick seems to be illeg son of Elizabeth Bint. Elizabeth married Thomas Smith in Hillingdon on 5 nov 1848. Her father was Thomas Bint. Frederick looks like he's with his grandparents in 1841. (Thomas age 55 and Lydia age 60 in same household as 6 year old Frederick)
Finding out about Alfred A Robinson may be a bit harder
-
Thankyou all so very much for your help and imfo, this Alfred A Robinson born 14.1.1910 in 1939, of 1 Westgate place bury st edmonds, may tie in with his marriage in 1941,???????????????

Alfred Alexander Robinson with that dob died in Peterborough district in 1980. Think he was also born in Peterborough district. A bit of a way from Bury St Eds, but if you have an Alfred with that dob in Bury, it a possibility, it would attract a lot of workers from outside, GK brewery, sugar factory etc
-
This Alfred's mmn was Stanger
added
GRO has note "occasional copy A" with record ???
but on Index image from freebmd it's in its expected place in alphabetical list not a hand written addition or correction.
-
Looks like he has a twin sister Elsie May - same ref number
-
Marriage Q1 1905 Spalding district William Arthur Robinson and Elizabeth E Stanger could be his parents
-
I've found a William Arthur birth reg Peterborough district in Q4 1881 mmn Clarke, in 1901 he seems to be single and in prison, occ bricklayer's labourer.
added
I think it's a different one in Northampton prison, it looks like he was born London not in Peterborough / Northants area
-
yes lizzie, think we are closing in on ,william arthur think born 1882 at newborough and 1883 for elizabeth from moulton chapel lincs, thanks so much now I MAY have the link.Margaret.
-
Better fit for William Arthur in 1901 lodging with Susan Dower in Frampton, Boston.Lincs, also lodging is John Thos Robinson b abt 1876, both men are brickmakers and born Newborough Nothants, so possibly brothers.
-
This is a bit odd
1881 census (a few months before William Arthur was born)
Samuel Robinson Head 26 Crowland, Lincolnshire, Farm Labourer
Eliza Ann Robinson Wife 28 London, Middlesex
John Thomas Robinson Son 5 Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Scholar
Samuel Robinson Son 3 Newborough, Northants
Annie Robinson Daughter 0 Newborough
Samuel jnr birth reg has mmn Brudenell.
Samuel snr married Eliza Ann Brudenell Q3 1877 Peterborough district.
John Thomas reg as Brudenell surname Q1 1876 no mmn, so it fits with him being her illeg child born the year before marriage.
But Annie and William Arthur both have mmn Clarke. ???
-
Could be connected
Eliza Ann Clark mmn Brudnall
Q4 1852 D Quarter Woodstock union Volume 03A Page 528
