I have traced the above, b 1827 app, and his wife Margrate (Margaretta) nee KINZIOS, b 1827 app (with various spellings on their children's birth records) back to the 1861 census although I know they were here before that as their youngest child was born 1855 in London. I have failed miserably to find them on the 1851 census and would appreciate some guidance as to where I might find their immigration from Germany or even their records in Germany. I have looked at Family Search.

Their address when their daughter was christened in Dec 1855 was 75 Charlotte Street, Fitzroy Square

Yes I have the baptism and the marriage. The name spelling is off putting as even the marriage record has her first name spelt two ways. I have found another couple of transcriptions of baptisms of children that I am sure are theirs but the father's name is given as Diedrich, mother Margaretta. I did another trawl of Family Search with the two father's name but didn't come up with anything.

The marriage gives his occupation as Cabinet maker
