Lots of records of her - looks like she was born 9 August 1877 and baptised 14 Oct 1877 at Heaton Mersey, Lancs.  Parents: James & Mary Elizabeth.

Birth reg as Ruth Leigh, mother's maiden name Oliver, Sep qtr 1877 Stockport.

James Leigh (bachelor, coachman, of Heaton Mersey) married Mary Elizabeth Oliver (spinster, of Didsbury) at St James', Didsbury on 30 August 1876. 
His father: James Leigh, joiner.
Her father: John Oliver, foreman.
