Hello, I am looking for the parents of
George Baldwin was born in 1919 in New Zealand. He had three sons and two daughters with Nancy Mary Lewis. He died on January 14, 1967, in his hometown at the age of 48, and was buried in Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand.

I don’t see a birth notice on paperspast and nothing helpful at Archway
https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/SimpleSearchResults.do
so I think it will have to be the purchase of a birth cert or wait until next year and it will be visible in the historical indexes with Parent’s Christian names. (His death cert will have parents names on too - if known by the informant)
Looks as though there may have been an inquest at his death.
-
Maybe obtain a death printout?*
1967/33397 Baldwin George 48Y
Bearing in mind the information provided was only as reliable as the knowledge of the informant.
*Cheaper than a certificate, may contain more information and can be e-mailed.

Perhaps you may be able to obtain some information from the funeral directors?

I don't know how to reply to individual post???
I am Canadian and used to dealing with Canadian, American, British and some French records. Therefore:
Minnihaha,
How do I apply for a NZ printout?
Mckha489
Why will his historical index be available next year?
Where can I find it?
Thank you,
KAL

https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/Search/Search?Path=querySubmit.m%3fReportName%3dDeathSearch%26recordsPP%3d30#SearchResults
Enter his name and dates to encompass the death date and his entry will come up.
Once you hit “order product” to the right of the entry, you have a choice between a Printout or an actual certificate.
This same site has births but they are not available to look at until they are 100 years old. Hence 2019.
-
For genealogy purposes we suggest purchasing a "printout" these are a photocopy of the entry in the register and often contain more than a certificate. They are cheaper and can be emailed to you.
His birth wont be on the historical records until next year due to the 100 yr cut off rule here in NZ

Regarding your tree on Ancestry I wonder if you had seen this re George Baldwin 1847 - 1926. (Corrected date)
https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/EP19260809.2.56?page=9&query=George+baldwin
(Also, reluctant as I am to start a flag debate) that’s the Australian Flag you have next to George ours looks similar I admit, but has red stars
-
REALLY sorry about the error in flag.

This may be a red herring as I see another George Baldwin died aged 51 in 1968 probate states Wanganui - Printer.
A similar area to Eltham,
