I think that marriage is possible too. Especially going by the unusual name of the first child who could be named after Cyrils mother
-
His DOB is 22 Sept 1904 - I think that's the man.

His death is also in the same county as first child married.
Well done Richview ;D

Hi Richview,
Can I ask how you arrive at the correct father (Harry William Marks ) from the marriage ?
have you a copy of the marriage cert or is it on FindMyPast ??
If you can confirm how it would be great and I will be very grateful
Regards

Yes I believe as per what you thought was an error was originally an error by the curate or vicar and grocer and miner s/b reversed....not the first or last time I expect to see this. One other occasion in a branch of the family close to this one.
Anyhow thanks to Richview,Rosie and CaroleW. This one is solved and thanks also to Richview a stem to New Zealand of the same family , many many thanks all.
I told Cyril's great niece of his existance last week. She knew of all her other great Aunts and Uncles but did not know of Cyril whatsoever. I will ask here to add a post here in thanks to you all for your kind assistance.
