Hello, Im after James Monaghan and where he is after 1871?
In 1871 I have him in Wolverhampton, with his mom, ellen geraghty (garrity) (formerlyu monaghan) and the stepfather James Geraghty/Garrity
1901 finds Ellen, as a pauper in wolverhampton union workhouse
but I cant trace James.. after 1871...
any ideas?

ahh thats probably why i had 1851...
so now we know that might not be the right James then hey?
I did.. (but cant see it now) see a james and ellen geraghty in Ireland... Mayo.. (his parents)

Pretty certain that is not the right James - I've just found a baptism in 1857 in Wolverhampton for a James Monaghan, parents Michael and Elene (Philbin). This is probably the James I found in the Censuses.
