I have a few photos I would like to have restored if anybody has time. They are of my mother's family, they were from Essex originally and then moved to Hackney, the family are now back in Essex!!
The photos are
1) Elizabeth Stenning aged 81, it was taken in about 1888.
2)Florence Norman in about 1914
3)Grace Elizabeth Norman who became a Dixon.
4)Grace Dixon with a friend May Wicks about 1914
5)Grace Dixon with a friend May Wicks about1915

There's only 4. Where's the other one?
The dates are wrong for the first 2.
1 is Edwardian.
2 is around 1904-08.

I had a try at the easy one? The picture has been scanned too at low a resolution also should be scanned as RGB not greyscale all of which can make for a better repair/restore, regards, John.

I have done as suggested and scanned the photo at 1200dpi and RGB, hopefully this will result in a better photo. An error occurred when I tried to post.. maybe the file is now too big, any suggestions as to what to do?
Thanks

Tina has sent me the hi-res version and I have resized it the best I could to get it under 500. If anyone wants a crack at the 1200 version, follow the link and download it. I'll leave it in my Dropbox for a week or so to give everyone a chance at it.
