Hello,
This is my first post on rootschat so please bear with me if I am still a novice with this website!
I am looking for descendants of Tamara Elizabeth Pritchard (1738-1808) who married Allen Hurrell (1741-1809). They had a daughter called Mary Ann Hurrell born 1774.
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find much more information about the Hurrells, despite using Ancestry and Findmypast. Either I am not looking in the right places, or this is a dead-end.
If anyone could help me either with tips or advice, or know of Hurrells in England, I would greatly appreciate it!

Is this the Allen Hurrell buried St James, Pentonville 23rd Nov 1809 age 82?
Married 23 Sep 1769, St Clements Dane, to Tamary Elizabeth Pritchard?
Tamary Elizabeth Hurrell buried 6th Jan 1808, St James Pentonville, age 69.
Are you descended from Mary? If so - you know some descendents!

Yes Allen H died in 1809, and Tamary buried in 1808!
I myself am not descended from Mary but I am a newbie assistant helping someone with their ancestry.

I dont know where Mary Ann was married (or if she was married at all), but my educated guess on where she lived is England, possibly Westminster where her parents were born.
Her grandparents are William and Hannah Pritchard (nee Vaughan)

So - what is the link with Allen and Tamara?
When/where was Mary christened - how do you know of her existence?

Allen and Tamara were married.
I am looking for any descendants up until recent dates that are from Tamara Elizabeth Pritchard (and her family) so if her daughter Mary Ann Hurrell had any children, I would want to trace it.
The reason is that Tamara's mother Hannah Vaughan will have a ceremony of her memorial in Westminster abbey soon, and I am looking for descendants of hers to invite to the Abbey.

Yes, we know they were married to each other, I referred to the marriage in reply#3. I obviously didn't make myself clear , as I was asking what link you (or the person you are helping) had with Allen and Tamary, if not descended from Mary! But you have answered that in your last post.
I do ask again though - where and when was Mary christened - how do you know of her existence? I ask in case that provides a lead to looking for any siblings.
Presumably Hannah Vaughan was a person of some standing? Have you looked for Wills etc?

I see Hannah Pritchard died 1768, (already widowed) and did leave a Will.
She mentions 3 daughters, Judith Spilsbury, Tamary Elizabeth Pritchard and Hannah Mary Palmer (widow).
Also mentions Hannah MAria, Caroline, and ELizabeth Spilsby, and William Vaughan Palmer (possible grandchildren?)
I assume you have these descendents!
We saw Tamary married the following year.

hello,
using an ancestry search gave me the birth of mary ann hurrell and her birth year (1774) but no other information has been recorded- which makes me wonder if she really existed at all as you mentioned.
But i do find it strange how there was a mary ann listed under her parents' names on ancestry.
i have checked sites like wikitree, familysearch, find my past to find more about mary ann, and I have found on familysearch that she was christened in Westminster in 1774, saint clement danes

I am aware of Hannah Pritchard's children other than tamara, but Mary Ann in particular stumped me, as i didnt have a clear marriage or even death for her- which is why its taken me on a chase to look for evidence she existed on all different websites.

Following on from finding her chr on familysearch, I can also see:
14 Sep 1779
St Luke, Chelsea
John Forbes Hurrell
parents Allen and Tamar Elizabeth Hurrell
Looks like she had a brother
