Title: Grant family
Post by: MacGrigor on Friday 24 August 18 14:48 BST (UK)
Hello,

The family lived in Farringdon.

Can anyone find marriages for:

John and Frances Grant, christening children there from 1717 onwards
John and Elizabeth Grant, christening children there in 1695

As well as John Grant’s christening date there from 1695.

Any details about Frances Grant (prior to the marriage) and the Grants from the second marriage would be great.

I’d appreciate any help!

Adam

Just because the children were baptised in Farringdon it does not mean that Farringdon is where the parents married.I can't see any marriages there for a John Grant.

No, I did consider that. Are there any local marriages otherwise?

None that I can find. All that comes up is a burial for a John Grant born 1717 and died 1717, and a burial for a John Grant born 1695, died 1749.
