Hi
Would anyone like to have a bash at transcribing this part of the Will of John Winslade ..died 1816,
I have only added part of it to start with as it seems to ramble on a bit, some words are easy enough, others not so. The will is from Ancestry, its the second page if anyone wishes to have a look.
Many Thanks
Mike

Why not transcribe what you can and let us fill in the gaps :-\

Hi,
all ..?.. my two L????? shopwagon or ...?.. (looks like) premises at Richmond
The bit on the first line I believe reads 'Messuages or tenements & premises'
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

It starts:
All those my two leasehold messuages or tenements & premises at Richmond
-
aforesaid in one of which I now dwell To hold the same with the appurtenances (abbreviated) unto
my said wife during the term of her natural life & from & after my said wife's
demise(?) I give & bequeath the aforesaid two Messuages or Tenements & premises
with their appurtenances (abbreviated) & all my Estate & Interest therein together with the Lease thereof
unto & to the use of my son Thomas Winslade his Executors (abbreviated) Administrators (abbreviated) & Assigns, during the

Hi,
The rest as best as I can make it out! ;D
'aforesaid in and of which I now ? to hold the same with the appurts unto
my said wife during the term of her natural life and from & after my said wife's
demise? I give & bequeath the aforesaid two messuages or tenements & premises with their appurts & all my estates & interest? ? together with the lease thereof?
unto ? ? use of my son Thomas Winslade ? ? ? ? during the
remainder of ? ? to ? at my ? also I give & bequeath unto my
said wife the ? of all my leasehold? furniture linen & other effects? for her'
Appurts = Appurtenances.
There are a few words that I cannot make out & one or two words that I am unsure of, all marked with question marks.
Hope this helps anyway.
Kind regards
David

Greensleeves has it correct - the word after 'term of her natural life & from & after my said wife's'
is 'decease'.
The last couple of lines following on from Greensleeves transcription are:
...................during the
remainder of the Lease to come at my decease Also I give & bequeath unto my
said Wife the use of all my household furniture Linen & other Effects for her

Many thanks to Greensleeves, David, and Goldie for your help, it goes on to mention the other son John and daughter Sarah, but I think I can now work out the rest.
