Hi everyone. I have been researching a family named Ginifer (spelt many different ways!) who lived in Castlemorton/Welland, Worcestershire in the 19th/20th century. This photo was found with other Ginifer photos (although none as old as this one appears). It is stuck on a dark green shiny card with no marks on the back.
Could anyone suggest a date and possible occasion?
Thank you

Quick tweak...

Sorry, can't help with a date, but here's (another) enhanced version for you.

Can we work backwards from maybe other later photographs you have?

Well it's Edwardian but can't date it closer than that but probably the first half.

Just checking in after work and thank you so much for all of the replies :-) The enhancements are great as well so thank you to Peter and handypandy for your time. That line at the bottom is torn right through and has Sellotape on the back!
Thanks Jim for the date suggestion, this will definitely help narrow down any suspects.
I've attached a photo of Fanny Ginifer nee Keepings who was born 1884, with her son Jim b1908. It is a very tiny snap so hope it is clear enough. I think she does resemble the mother in the original photo (which could be her mother going by the date) However I have checked the census for her family and Fanny appears to be an only child so that seems to rule her out.
I will keep looking :-)
Thanks for reading
**edit** please bear with me as I make the picture fit the page better

If her maiden name was Keepings how does she fit into this family? or was she Keepings nee Ginnifer.
I've looked at the census & can only see 1 family that sort of fits with the date & that's John & Anne.

Hi Jim. She married John Ginifer in 1909 and was from Bath originally but moved to Worcester by 1901. Parents James and Laura.

2nd try...
-
So why would you expect her to look like someone from the 1st. family if her name was Keepings & their name was Ginnifer ? or do you think they are the John & Fanny who married in 1909 & the youngest child is the one in the 2nd. photo ? which makes her Fanny's child but not John's.
If the 1st. family are Ginnifer then it can only be John & Ann nee Little.
They had 2 daughter Alice & Mary who could be the 2 older girls.

A couple quick cleanups of the second photo.

The colour one is amazing, thank you so much Dr Dude.
As the photo was amongst many other Ginifer photos I just thought it would be connected somehow, even by marriage. I will keep looking for suitable candidates.
Thanks everyone for your interest :)
