Title: Marrowbone Lane and the census
Post by: Nettie on Sunday 02 September 18 10:20 BST (UK)
I had Tyrrell relatives living and dying and 41 and 42 Marrowbone Lane prior to 1900. I am attempting to check out the 1901 census to see if there is anyone related to the family still living in the house/Lane. I can find Marrowbone Lane on the 1911 Census but not on the 1901 one. I have tried a few spelling variations but still no luck.  Can anyone else see it? Thanks for your time.

Alas, it only picks up from number 49, Marrowbone (Marrabone). I shall keep searching. Sorry to waste your time.

Hi Nettie,
as the census site is Key Sensitive, when searching put in
Marr*
when you see the results, drill down each record, as it depends on who put the Marr? in the site in the first place.

November 1900, 41 Marrowbone lane was a dairy yard in the hands of B. Kavanagh, Dublin -  Dublin newspapers had a sale notice for it due to Mr Kavanagh's retirement. Previously in February 1895, a coal dealer called Edward Toole / O'Toole died at no. 41.
