Evening all.
I'm helping a friend with some research and I wondered if you could help.

Edna was born to James Nicholls and Maud Popham March q. 1912 in Thrapston. My friend was told that Edna was brought up by her Grandparents Arthur and Louisa Popham in Wellingborough and would like to find out if this is true and why. I'm not sure where to search for this so I wondered if anyone can help.

PS I see in 1911 Arthur & Louisa ran a pub in Stanwick.

PS James T Nicholls died 1956 Wellingboro aged 76 Maud E died 1961 Wellingboro aged 72

Hi again, an Eileen E Popham is a Widowed Inn Keeper at the Crown Inn, Church Street, Raunds in 1939, the same Inn as 1911.
