Based on census records his mothers name was Albertina born Germany H. could stand for Hessen or another district, his father is Mathias/Matthew born France. They are Roman Catholic.

Matthew always gives France as his place of birth and on his marriage he is more specific naming Alsace France as his birthplace. So I don't think Baden Germany is the right birth record.

I can only put what it says on the birth record .................Just for reference - the 1871 and 1891 also say Germany (reply 5 shows)

HELLO MY NAME IS FREDRICK EDWIN ARCHIE CAMPBELL my Grandmother Elizabeth Youngson who married Archibald David Campbell from Harding Manitoba was a sister to Margaret Jennie Youngson who Married Joseph Sutter from Ontario. Their sister Ellenor Youngson i beleive is also Buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Winnipeg. i beleive only three children had survived of the children of Margaret Jennie sutter (sutten) which were Mathilda Margarita Sutter(ladell), Jennie Sutton, Wilima mildred Sutton(IVAN RICHARD Day) of Deloraine.
In 1911 Census for Oak River Blanchard municipality she is living with her Brother John Paul Youngson and last name looks like Sutten rather then Sutter. ALso in one Census i beleive of Mathildas family James Youngson is living with them which was also my grandmothers brother. i can be reach at the following email (*) and i also live close to winnipeg in BRandon. I believe Margaret Jennie Youngson (SUTTER OR SUTTEN) her second husband might of been William Arthur Cooper married in winnipeg in 1921
