I am trying to find the grave of Mary Eliza Bowsher who died Dec qtr 1970 ,Bristol aged 82.

I can tell you that she is not buried at Greenbank Cemetery as I have records for that one.
There are quite a number of places that she could have been buried at. Have you obtained her death certificate to see exactly where she died and her address details?
Have you tried to find any death announcement in the local paper which would have been the Bristol Evening Post in the 1970's. You will probably have to visit the Central Library for that.
