Title: Long running script
Post by: Jolyon on Sunday 09 September 18 11:45 BST (UK)
Hi all,

Wondered if anyone could help with the following:
Regularly view a particular websites and often find I can't scroll up or down with the mouse centre page, though I can if I click extreme right. When I use extreme right a message usually appears (bottom of screen) "website is not responding due to long running script" with further box option to "stop script".   Clicking 'stop script' usually solves the problem but it is annoying.

I used to get that message all the time when I used Internet Explorer. It used to drive me mad.  :)

I now use google Chrome and never get the message.

Can depend on size of webpage... I get it sometimes on FS if anyone is working on local Mast but what I'm trying to get is big!

Had to use other Wifi yesterday and all good.....

Hallmark,

On reflection your suggestion would seem to fit, as the website (This is Money) is quite extensive.

Again thanks.
